What started as a dream quickly became a reality—though not without its challenges. Four years ago, I launched Paramount Excavating with no background in septic systems and not a single job lined up. We made a bold move, investing over $200,000 in equipment with the mindset that failure simply wasn’t an option. I was a new dad, working hard to provide for my family, taking on any odd jobs we could find just to cover the monthly payments, all while studying to earn my septic system licenses.
The early days were full of long hours, steep learning curves, and plenty of grit. Every job was an opportunity to prove ourselves, learn something new, and build a reputation for reliability and quality. We stayed committed to doing the job right the first time—no shortcuts, no guesswork, just honest, skilled work. Slowly but surely, word got around, and what started as a one-man operation has grown into a full-time crew going from job to job with pride and purpose.
